Our Plant of the Week: Supertunias

This week’s Plant of the Week is the Supertunia® from Proven Winners! With nearly every variety in stock, these heat-tolerant, self-cleaning beauties are perfect for adding vibrant color to sunny Florida landscapes. Supertunias thrive in part to full sun, typically growing 6–12” tall and spreading 2–3’. Space plants 12–18” apart for full coverage or 2–3’ apart for a more open look. We also carry compact Vista varieties with smaller blooms and an 18–24” spread. Plant in well-drained, evenly moist soil, and water directly at the base by lifting the foliage. As heavy feeders, make sure to amend the soil when planting, apply granular fertilizer and supplement with liquid fertilizer every other week for beautiful, continuous blooms!
