We are seeking a friendly, energetic and outgoing greenhouse associate to keep our greenhouse and retail areas looking their best! We need someone knowledgeable of plants (but will train the right candidate), offers exceptional customer service skills and excited to continually learn new things.

Additional responsibilities include:           

• Assist customers with plant selection, answer questions and ensure they have an excellent shopping experience
• Clean tables and counters as needed
• Maintain Orchids and deadhead plants
• Properly water plants and empty buckets of standing water at the end of the day
• Return non-greenhouse merchandise to proper retail areas
• Regularly restock all supplies and other items in greenhouse
• Order plants and supplies (i.e., fertilizer, etc.) for greenhouse
• Regularly sweep greenhouse floors, dust merchandise & shelves and maintain a general tidy appearance
• On Friday evening or Saturday morning, lightly treat plant leaves with Leaf Shine (not blooms or fuzzy leaves)
• Unload plants upon delivery, label containers and stock tables
• Provide back up to Register/Customer Service Counter as needed

Purpose: To assist Manager in warehousing and dispersal of merchandise for retail department. 

Duties: Include but are not limited to:

• Provide professional customer service at all times (essential)
• Verify incoming merchandise with the attached packing slips
• Inspect all packages and note any discrepancies (i.e., broken, missing or additional contents) on packing slip
• Price all merchandise
• Take packing slip and all paperwork to Manager or Retail Director when finished pricing and verify all merchandise
• Maintain extensive knowledge of merchandise
• Carry out and load customer purchases when assistance is requested (i.e., call for carry out)
• Assemble merchandise when needed
• Re-stock sales floor with warehouse merchandise to ensure shelves are fully stocked
• Take out garbage, cardboard and packing materials to appropriate dumpsters
• Inventory sections on a daily basis
• Other duties as assigned

Seeking Assistant Retail Manager with retail, merchandising and supervisory experience. Position will oversee cashiers, warehouse and scheduling. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and exceptional customer service skills. The Assistant Retail Manger will assist in ensuring store remains clean, organized and visually appealing to customers. Attention to detail essential.

Candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and able to stand/walk for an eight-hour shift. Great work environment with competitive compensation. Weekends required.

Seeking experienced Cashiers with exceptional customer service skills. Candidates must be able to conduct sales transactions correctly and efficiently as well as close and count drawer at the end of shift. • Greeting customers upon entering the store
• Assist in maintaining & watering plants in retail area
• Assist in keeping clean store by dusting, sweeping and daily trash disposal
• Assist with labeling and displaying merchandise
• Maintain customer ordering files
• Assist with training new cashiers
• Assist with inventory

Sales Assistants will provide exceptional service to our customers by assisting them with plant selection, answer questions on plants and offer recommendations on compatibles. Sales Assistants will remain visible to customers and readily available for assistance. Horticultural knowledge and experience is required along with the ability to seek further assistance from more knowledgeable staff when necessary.

 Sales Assistants will maintain and water plants & trees in outside beds and help unload/stock new plant deliveries. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and capability to stand/walk for an eight-hour shift in Sarasota’s weather necessary. Great work environment with competitive compensation. Weekends required.
