Talavera Pottery

At Your Farm and Garden, you’ll discover a large selection of Talavera Pottery. These works of art are handcrafted by master artisans using techniques passed down over 500 centuries. They are produced in the Mexican state of Puebla and Dolores Hidalgo.

All Talavera Pottery is hand molded and fired in a gas kiln for over a week. It’s then hand-glazed and hand-painted. Next, pieces are fired again for about ten days at high temperatures, baking in excellent durability and vibrant colors. In all, each one-of-a-kind piece takes a month to produce.

Whether grouped or placed individually, your Talavera Pottery will add a colorful focal point to your home and garden!
